Dario Hrupec is an assistant professor of physics at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, where he teaches Mathematical Methods of Physics, Special and General Relativity, Introduction to Astronomy and Astrophysics, Computational Physics, Science in Everyday Life, and Teaching Science. His research interests include astroparticle physics, high energy gamma-ray astronomy, Cherenkov telescopes, and numerical simulations. He has authored a number of popular science articles, popular physics & astronomy books, and physics texbooks. He is also a translator, expert editor and reviewer of science books, public speaker and organizer of public lecture series Priroda uživo and forums Razgovori o knjigama.
